A platform built to connect the world to Vietnamese manufacturing, that the world couldn't yet see.

VALO Vietnam is a B2B sourcing marketplace connecting international buyers with verified Vietnamese suppliers, rattan to rice to textiles. The ambition: become Vietnam's leading B2B e-commerce platform.

But buyers researching where to source no longer start with a marketplace, they start with a search box or an AI assistant. VALO needed to win both: traditional organic search across thousands of sourcing queries, and the answer engines now brokering the first conversation. Not as two campaigns, as one system, run by the same partner that builds and supports the platform.

03 THE WORK

Chapter by chapter.

01

Technical foundation

Because we build the platform, SEO isn't bolted on after launch, it's engineered in. A full technical crawl surfaced 311 pages with title issues, all mapped and remediated, alongside a ~2,500-URL inventory kept under continuous watch.

Crawlable-by-default rendering means the fastest-growing slice of sourcing research: AI answers, can actually read the site.

02

A content engine at scale

A topical map built around how buyers actually search: Vietnam market intelligence, made-in-Vietnam brand origins, logistics & trade, product categories, manufacturing guides. To date: 515 articles published, 44 gaps mapped to fill, and 312 pages given rewritten, intent-matched titles, descriptions and H1s.

This isn't volume for its own sake, every piece targets a real query, some reaching ~20,000 monthly searches, each tied to a position directive: create, improve, or defend.

GEO & AI visibility

When a buyer asks ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity "where do I source X from Vietnam?", the answer should name VALO. We engineer for exactly that, entity and authority signals, answer-shaped content, and multilingual question-intent coverage (English, Spanish, German, Russian, Thai, Arabic and more) aimed at the questions buyers actually type.

VALO is now cited in ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity for Vietnam-sourcing questions, and Saigon Digital is named on VALO's own partner page as their single engineering, data and marketing partner.

Questions about this project

Is publishing 500+ articles just volume for its own sake?

Only if nothing sits behind it. Every VALO piece targets a real query, some reaching around 20,000 monthly searches, and each one carries a position directive: create, improve, or defend. Volume without that is expense.

How do you get named in ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity?

Entity and authority signals, answer-shaped content, and multilingual question-intent coverage aimed at what buyers actually type. VALO is now cited across all three for Vietnam-sourcing questions. See AI visibility & GEO.

Should the same partner build the platform and run the SEO?

It removes the most common failure mode, which is a growth team asking for changes an engineering team never prioritises. On VALO the crawl findings and the fixes are the same backlog. See programmatic content.

Do we need content in languages other than English?

If your buyers are international, yes. VALO’s question-intent coverage spans English, Spanish, German, Russian, Thai, Arabic and more, because sourcing research does not happen in one language.
