Lighthouse 100s are not an accident
I work across builds and retainers. Performance is the part I refuse to treat as optional: a fast site is not a bonus feature, it is the floor.
Lighthouse 100s do not happen by luck. They happen because someone keeps refusing to ship slower, on every ticket, including the boring ones.

What I am usually in the room for
The parts of the work I stay closest to.
- Performance as a default
- Measured on every build, not audited afterwards. Budgets set at the start are far cheaper than optimisation at the end.
- Builds and retainers
- The same standard either way. A retainer ticket gets the review a launch feature gets, because that is where most sites actually decay.
- Nothing ships unreviewed
- A second pair of expert eyes before anything reaches a client. It is the cheapest quality control there is.
