Thirty years of architectural expertise, and almost none of it online.

RED Interior Design & Architecture was founded in 2007 and carries more than thirty years of combined architectural expertise across corporate, showroom and residential projects. Offline, the reputation was established. Online, the site performed like a business that had opened last week.

They came to us to unlock the organic search potential the brand had already earned, and to build a digital footprint that matched the real-world one: visible in the searches that precede a project, and built to convert the people running them.

03 THE WORK

Chapter by chapter.

01

The challenge

RED held decades of genuine industry authority, and a domain strong enough to rank. What it did not hold was the commercial surface area to use either. Three problems sat underneath that.

An underdeveloped commercial footprint. Domain authority was strong, but the high-intent local pages that capture people actively looking for a studio barely existed. There was nothing for the demand to land on.

02

Competitors had already moved to the new surfaces

Search behaviour in this market had moved on. Competitors were capturing visibility across evolving local search intent and the AI-driven answer surfaces where shortlists are now written, while RED was absent from both.

For a considered, high-value service like interior architecture, that is where the shortlist forms. Being unavailable at that moment does not lose you a click, it loses you the brief.

03

The data could not be trusted

Legacy tracking configurations had distorted the historical metrics, so the numbers everyone was working from did not describe reality. Before any strategy could be set, we needed a clean baseline.

We restored data and site integrity together: fixed the legacy tracking errors, removed the scripts that were compromising stability, and got reporting back to something that could be acted on. Unglamorous, and the precondition for everything after it.

04

A market-led roadmap

We built a content-aligned search roadmap designed to capture high-value commercial intent across both traditional and AI search engines, starting from search intent analysis rather than from a keyword list.

That prioritised the local, high-converting commercial terms with real demand behind them, then rebuilt the site structure into content clusters optimised for classical ranking and for answer engines at the same time. We capitalised on the domain strength RED already had rather than spending months building authority they had already earned offline.

Questions about this project

We have a strong reputation offline. Why does none of it show online?

Because reputation is not commercial surface area. RED held decades of authority and a domain strong enough to rank, but almost none of the high-intent local pages that capture someone actively looking for a studio. There was nothing for the demand to land on.

Our analytics numbers look wrong. Does that matter before we start?

It is the first thing to fix. Legacy tracking configurations had distorted RED’s historical metrics, so every decision was being made against a fiction. We restored a clean baseline before setting any strategy, which is unglamorous and non-negotiable.

Why does AI search matter for a design studio?

Because that is increasingly where the shortlist is written. For a considered, high-value service, being absent from the answer surfaces does not lose you a click, it loses you the brief. See AI visibility & GEO.

How long before organic search brings in real work?

RED signed new business from search inside the nine months on this page. That is fast, and it was possible because the domain authority already existed; the work was giving it somewhere to go.
